Natural * Holistic * Healer * Massage Therapist

Born in Bahia, Brazil, Miralva came to the United States more than a decade ago. Her enthusiasm in caring for people through massage grew as she found her natural talents and learned new ways to develop her skill.  Miralva was born in a community of curandeiros (healers), where her grandmother was a priestess and midwife. This community where people celebrated life with ritual dance and music shaped Miralva into an intuitive healer. She spent most of her childhood learning natural and spiritual healing methods from her grandmother such as how to identify herbs to treat different conditions. Her mother taught her how to make body creams and salves to treat wounds.

In 1999, Miralva began to study at the healing center of Gorge Conceicao, a very respected healer in Bahia. There she learned about macrobiotic cuisine, natural clay therapy using cataplasma/poultice, healing bath soaks and the subtle healing power of Reiki.

Miralva offers knowledgeable, insightful and custom designed services. She works within each client’s comfort level to achieve her/his best outcome.

Hands of Hearts is now offering unique on-site chair massage and mobile spa healing team to your office and your home.

Words of Wisdom

"The energetic relationship between body and mind requires nurturing care and attention to both the emotional and the physical sphere in order to maintain the well being of the whole".

What does Well-Being mean to you?

Well-being to me means to be completely in a state of harmony with yourself and your environment.

I was always fascinated by the healing that happens through the heart and the hands. By being surrounded by healers, compassion for the wellbeing of people grew in my heart.
