WHO/WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
I am inspired by our mother nature Gaia everyday. The way she is constantly changing, evolving and growing. I find I learn my most important life lessons from paying attention to natures present state.
WORDS OF WISDOM
"Mental happiness is total relaxation."- read this on a Yogi tea bag once and it really stuck with me.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THIS WORK?
After losing a number of family members due to cancer, I enrolled in Twin Star Connecticut's School of Herbal and Energetic Studies in 2015 to learn about alternative forms of healing. Being a part of a community of herbalists, I learned about the vast medicinal qualities of the plants growing right outside my door. I recognized in seeing how my family was treated for cancer there was a disconnect between the spiritual aspect of healing. I became curious about how herbal medicine and flower essences could fill a void for where that care was lacking for not only cancer patients but anyone in need of healing.
